Double Shooting In Cocoa
COCOA, Florida — Two women have been shot in an apartment complex on Clearlake Road across from the Brevard Community College campus in Cocoa, Florida around noon today, according to dispatchers. One of the women was airlifted by medical helicopter from the scene with multiple gun shot wounds.
Cocoa police and Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies have set up a perimeter and are searching in the neighborhood around Longwood Apartments and Cambridge Elementary School for a suspect that remains at large. Sheriff’s K-9 units and STAR helicopter are assisting in the search. If you have any information, police ask that you please call Crimeline at (800) 423 – TIPS (8477).
