MELBOURNE, Florida – Brevard County broke record cold temperatures on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

After a cool start this morning, temperatures will rebound nicely thanks to brilliant sunshine. Light west winds this morning will become onshore (east) this afternoon as the east coast sea breeze pushes inland.
Afternoon highs ranging from around 80°F along the coast to 85°F well inland are expected.
